Local Rental Pickup Information
Thank you for choosing us for your special event!
Please read the information below carefully before collecting your rental.
Pickup Location
We are based in South Hill, Oamaru. Many customers travelling between Dunedin and Christchurch choose to collect their rental while passing through.
When Will My Dress Be Ready?
If you’re booking for a weekend event, your rental will usually be ready for collection on Thursday. For weekday or daytime events, your dress will typically be ready 1–2 days prior to your event date.
Please note that most dresses are booked back-to-back and must first be returned, inspected, washed, dried, and steamed before they are ready for collection.
If you require your dress by a specific date or time, please contact us before booking so we can confirm whether we can accommodate your request.
Once your dress is ready, you will receive an email confirmation containing the collection address and pickup instructions.
Please do not come to collect your dress until you have received this email. If you arrive early, your dress may not be ready and you may be asked to return later.
Collecting Your Dress
When you collect your rental, it will be packaged in a white bag with your name labeled on it and include an information card.
Please:
- Check that you have collected the correct bag.
- Read all information provided before trying on or wearing the dress.
- Keep the information card with the dress, as it must be returned.
- Hang the dress up as soon as possible after collection to help remove any creases from transport.
As we often have multiple pickups on the same day, please take extra care to ensure you are collecting the correct rental. If you accidentally take the wrong bag, it must be returned immediately.
Wearing Your Dress

Please note that fashion tape or double-sided tape must not be used on any of our garments, as it can permanently damage the fabric.
If fashion tape is found on a garment, a minimum cleaning and damage fee of $30 will apply, with higher charges possible depending on the extent of the damage.
If you need additional support or security while wearing your dress, we recommend using Clutch Glue or BodiBond, as these products wash out easily and are safe to use on our garments. They also stick a lot better to your body compared to tape.
After Your Event
Please do not wash the dress. We take care of all cleaning and garment care once it has been returned.
If the dress has been damaged during your rental period, please contact us as soon as possible.
Returning Your Rental
Your dress must be returned on the next business day after your event.
Please ensure the following are returned:
- The dress
- The information card
- The white bag
Fees may apply if any items are missing.
The dress must be returned by 5:00pm on the return date. Late fees will apply to rentals returned after this time.
Please take extra care to return the dress to the correct address and location. If a dress is left elsewhere and becomes lost or misplaced, you will be responsible for the full replacement cost of the garment, along with any cancelled bookings resulting from the loss.
If you are unable to return the dress in person, please contact us before booking. We can arrange a prepaid return courier label for an additional fee of $8.
