Postal Rentals

Damaged Rental Upon Arrival

If you receive your rental and theres any sort of damage, please make sure to email me asap! rentingwithamelia@gmail.com. You must email me the same day you receive the package. If its not in a wearable condition we can organise swapping the dress / refunding, but only if you email the same day the dress has been delivered.

 

Care Instructions

Please remember that you do not own this dress, I ask that you treat the hired dress with care, as any damage on your behalf will be charged. If you are wearing the dress outside, please make sure to hold it up off the ground to avoid any mud marks. Stay away from areas that might scratch the fabric, and away from any smoke/smoking areas.

 

Damages

If you do accidentally damage the dress, please email me asap before returning the dress. If you stain/get marks on the dress, please do not wash or try to fix it as it can make it worse and make the stain set in place. 

 

Return

Once youve worn your dress, it needs to be sent back to us using the provided return bag and label, not your own. On the card you received, it will say the date and day it needs to be returned by. Our returns run Monday-Saturday, most if not all NZ Posts are open on Saturday, so if you're event is on the Friday the dress needs to be returned on the Saturday. If your local post shop isn't open on that specified date, please email me and let me know. You need to let me know the day your rental is delivered to you. All postal orders come with the return card/instructions, aswell as an empty mailer with a return sticker attached. If your rental has any corset/boning there will be a separate card with a care guide. When it’s time to return your dress, put it in the pre paid return mailer, and take it up. The dress will need to be dropped off at an NZ Post store or depot, it must be in person and been scanned, not in a drop box. Drop boxes are not monitored and dont get scanned properly, late fees will be charged if its not scanned. All postal returns need to be posted back by 11am , this is super important and there are late fees if this isnt followed. $10 if posted back after 11am, $25 per day not posted back. If your late return effects another booking you will be liable to cover the cost of the booking + 50%. You will also need to return the return card with the dress, or a $10 fee will be charged.

 

Pickup/Drop Off Rentals

Return

All pickup orders are put in a white bag with the dress and a return card. On the return card will say a specified date the dress needs to be dropped back off by, this will always be the day after your event. Once you’ve worn the dress and it’s time to return it, please drop it off in the original white bag and with the return card in it. There is a $15 fee if the bag isn’t dropped back off & a $10 fee if the card isn’t dropped back off. If you don’t drop off the dress the day after your event, on the specified date, there is a $25 late fee charged per day it’s not dropped off. It’s also very important that when you select pickup/drop off as the delivery method, that it is dropped off and not posted back. Put colander blocks out certain days, if you couldn’t drop it back off and required postage you must have let us know prior to booking. If you can not drop it back off and required postage postage, you must let us know immediately. You will be sent a return shipping label, which you can print out and stick on the package, aswell as invoiced that fee. If you only decide to let us know that you can’t drop off the dress once you’ve already picked it up, and it effects sending out a booking ontime/cancelling a booking you will be liable to cover the booking fee + 50%.
